Behin Polymer's Commitment: Beyond Industry, on the Path to Sustainability
At Behin Pardazan Koosha Company, we have emphasized social responsibility and sustainability since the very beginning of the establishment and launch of Behin Factory. For this reason, from the very beginning, we have organized our activities in the factory’s research and development unit and production departments accordingly.
On the other hand, we launched the Behin 2 plant, which focuses on polymer recycling, as a step towards protecting the environment. This initiative initially led to a significant reduction in industrial waste, and among its other benefits is the reduction of the company’s dependence on virgin resources.

Developing products with the least destructive impact on the environment
Another outstanding innovation of Behin Polymer is the production of products that protect the environment. Among these products is a specially formulated solar panel washing solution. In addition to increasing the efficiency of solar energy, this product does not have any destructive effect on the environment and also reduces water consumption by 50%. This achievement demonstrates the ability of our research and development department to create sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

Process optimization with energy savings and waste management
One of the most important signs of Behin Pardazan’s commitment to sustainability and green industry principles is the optimization of production processes to reduce energy and resource consumption. In the new production lines, we have used energy-efficient extruders and optimized processes in a way that significantly reduces energy consumption. Also, by utilizing heat and steam collection and reuse systems in the factory, we have been able to maximize energy efficiency and minimize heat loss.
Industrial waste management is also one of Behin Polymer’s top priorities. Waste from production processes in our factories is completely separated and, if possible, re-entered the recycling cycle for production. Chemical waste is also collected and transported in strict compliance with the guidelines of the Environmental Organization so that it does not pose any risk to the environment.

Continuous monitoring of air and water pollution is a vital component of Behin Polymer’s environmental approach. We use advanced filtration systems in our chimneys to minimize the emission of air pollutants. In addition, the quality of industrial effluents is periodically monitored by our Research and Development (R&D) laboratory to ensure that our industrial activities have a minimal environmental impact.

Behin Pardazan’s future vision is to become a Green Company. In addition to receiving ISO 14001 certification, we have ambitious plans to design and produce biodegradable masterbatches. Also, establishing a product life cycle management (LCA) system and using solar energy in part of our production lines are among our ongoing plans to realize this vision.

At Behin Polymer, we believe that social responsibility is an integral part of a sustainable business model and contributes greatly to the growth and development of the society we operate in. Accordingly, sustainable job creation is one of Behin Polymer’s key policies.
For example, our priority in human resources is to attract local experts at high levels, as well as local skilled workers. We also provide in-house training programs to improve the knowledge and skills of these people. This approach, in addition to increasing the capabilities and improving the specialized skills of employees, strengthens the local economy.

Another initiative of Behin Polymer is to hold environmental training workshops for employees. These workshops are held periodically and provide training on ways to reduce energy consumption, separate waste, and use industrial chemicals safely.
