Unveiling of a new generation of grafted polymers at Iranplast 1404; a new leap from diligent innovators in the development of engineering polymers

In a proud achievement, Behin Pardazan Koosha Company succeeded in developing a series of completely innovative and specialized products in the field of grafted polymers and unveiled them in full glory at the Iranplast 1404 International Exhibition. These products include polyethylene grafted with maleic anhydride (PE-g-MA), polypropylene grafted with maleic anhydride (PP-g-MA), and POE grafted with maleic anhydride (POE-g-MA); compounds that are considered among the most advanced and specialized engineering materials in the Iranian polymer industry.

These products are the result of months of research, testing and development by the company’s technical and research team, and by utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, they have been able to push the boundaries of performance, compatibility and adhesion in polymer systems. What distinguishes this achievement is not only its high technical quality, but also the level of innovation and multipurpose applications that have not been comparable in the domestic market so far.

With its precise molecular design, PE-g-MA has been able to enhance interlayer adhesion in films and multi-wall structures to an unprecedented level, and it provides performance beyond expectations in the packaging, pipemaking, and adhesive masterbatches industries.

PP-g-MA, with maleic anhydride grafted onto the polypropylene chain, provides chemical compatibility with polar polymers and has made a significant breakthrough in the production of automotive parts, multilayer pipes and engineering composites. This product not only improves mechanical properties, but also has high stability and uniformity in industrial processes.

And POE-g-MA, a product with an elastomeric structure and active polar groups, has shown unparalleled performance in hot melt adhesives, packaging films, and impact modifier masterbatches. High flexibility, low-temperature adhesion, and resistance to harsh environmental conditions make this product a premium choice for advanced industries.

The booth of Behin Pardazan Koosha Company at the Iranplast 1404 exhibition became a stage to showcase the country’s scientific and industrial capabilities. The introduction of these new products was widely welcomed by experts, industry activists, and international customers, showing that Iran has taken great strides in the production of advanced engineering materials.

The company’s management, while appreciating the research team’s relentless efforts, announced:

“We believe that developing specialized and knowledge-based products is the main path to growth and competitiveness in global markets. This success is an important step towards realizing the company’s long-term goals and enhancing the position of Iran’s polymer industry internationally.”
