Polyolefin adhesives
Polyolefin adhesives with the trade name BehBond create polymer products, as they have active agents and chemical bonds with the ability to connect polar and non-polar materials, improved adhesion and mechanical properties. Interlayer adhesives are used in polymer/metal multilayer pipes for improvement of adhesion and properties of PEX and PERT pipes as well as oil and gas transfer pipes.
In the packaging industry, in order to better protect food materials against the penetration of oxygen and humidity, etc, the multilayer structures are packaging films. By using the interlayer adhesives, it is possible to simultaneously use polar and non-polar polymers in multilayer structures in order to achieve some expected properties.
