Bu polimer \u00f6ncelikle ambalajlamada (plastik po\u015fetler, plastik filmler, jeomembranlar ve \u015fi\u015feler dahil kaplar vb.) kullan\u0131l\u0131r. Polietilen, toplam plastik pazar\u0131n\u0131n %70&#8217;inden fazlas\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturur, kolayca bulunur, nispeten d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck maliyetlidir ve 150-250\u00b0C s\u0131cakl\u0131klarda kolayca i\u015flenebilir.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Bu polimer ev e\u015fyalar\u0131nda, ambalajlarda, yal\u0131t\u0131mda ve ila\u00e7larda kullan\u0131l\u0131r. \u00c7o\u011fu polietilen bile\u015fi\u011fi b\u00fcy\u00fck miktarda dolgu maddesi i\u00e7erir. Polimer termoplastiktir ve bu nedenle bir\u00e7ok kez i\u015flenebilir. Bununla birlikte, polietilen y\u00fcksek s\u0131cakl\u0131klarda yumu\u015far ve ak\u0131\u015fkan hale gelir ve hayati fiziksel \u00f6zelliklerini kaybeder, bu da uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131 s\u0131n\u0131rlar. Polietilen zincirlerinin \u00e7e\u015fitli yap\u0131lar\u0131 aras\u0131nda, dall\u0131 yap\u0131lar \u00e7apraz ba\u011flanma i\u00e7in daha uygundur; bu nedenle LLDPE ve HDPE&#8217;de \u00e7apraz ba\u011flanma daha fazla dikkat gerektirir. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c7apraz ba\u011flama, polimer zincirlerinin 3 boyutlu yap\u0131lar olu\u015fturacak \u015fekilde birbirine ba\u011fland\u0131\u011f\u0131, \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcnmeyen ve erimeyen bir polimer yarat\u0131r. Operat\u00f6rleri radyasyondan korumak i\u00e7in g\u00fcvenlik \u00f6nlemleri gereklidir.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2-Kimyasal y\u00f6ntem:<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kimyasal \u00e7apraz ba\u011flama, kimyasallar veya ba\u015flat\u0131c\u0131lar kullan\u0131larak serbest radikallerin olu\u015fturuldu\u011fu ve bunun sonucunda polimerde \u00e7apraz ba\u011flar\u0131n olu\u015ftu\u011fu bir y\u00f6ntemdir. Bu y\u00f6ntemde \u00e7apraz ba\u011flama, do\u011frudan karbon-karbon ba\u011flar\u0131 yoluyla veya farkl\u0131 polietilen molek\u00fcllerini birbirine ba\u011flayan kimyasal k\u00f6pr\u00fcler yoluyla ger\u00e7ekle\u015fir. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kimyasal \u00e7apraz ba\u011flar olu\u015fturman\u0131n iki ana y\u00f6ntemi \u015funlard\u0131r:<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1-Peroksit bazl\u0131 (PEX-a)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2-Silan bazl\u0131 (nem kullan\u0131larak) (PEX-b)<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Termoplastik re\u00e7inelerdeki \u00e7apraz ba\u011flanma derecesi, \u00e7apraz ba\u011flanma i\u015flemine ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak de\u011fi\u015fir. Peroksit \u00e7apraz ba\u011flanma y\u00f6ntemi, fiziksel y\u00f6nteme k\u0131yasla en y\u00fcksek ve en homojen \u00e7apraz ba\u011flanma derecesini \u00fcretir. Radyasyon y\u00f6nteminde \u00e7apraz ba\u011flanma derecesi %34-75 iken, peroksit kullan\u0131lan kimyasal y\u00f6ntemde bu de\u011fer %90&#8217;\u0131n \u00fczerine \u00e7\u0131kar ve silan kullan\u0131lan kimyasal y\u00f6ntemde \u00e7apraz ba\u011flanma derecesi %45-70 aras\u0131ndad\u0131r.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Peroksit bazl\u0131 kimyasal \u00e7apraz ba\u011flama: (PEX-a) <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bu y\u00f6ntemde, ba\u015flat\u0131c\u0131 olarak organik peroksit kullan\u0131l\u0131r. Polietilen ve peroksitin birle\u015fimi, peroksitin bozunma s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n alt\u0131nda bir s\u0131cakl\u0131kta ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilmelidir. \u00c7apraz ba\u011flama, y\u00fcksek s\u0131cakl\u0131k ve bas\u0131n\u00e7ta, sonraki a\u015fama ekipmanlar\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilir. Peroksitin bozunma s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n \u00fczerindeki s\u0131cakl\u0131klar, ba\u015flat\u0131c\u0131y\u0131 bozarak serbest radikal olu\u015fumuna neden olur; bu serbest radikal, polimer zincirinden bir hidrojen atomunu uzakla\u015ft\u0131rarak aktif bir radikal haline gelir ve ayn\u0131 veya farkl\u0131 zincirden ba\u015fka bir aktif radikalle \u00e7apraz ba\u011f olu\u015fturur. Bu reaksiyon, t\u00fcm peroksit t\u00fcketilene veya s\u0131cakl\u0131k bozunma noktas\u0131n\u0131n alt\u0131na d\u00fc\u015fene kadar devam eder. Bu molek\u00fclleri a\u015f\u0131lamak i\u00e7in, \u00f6nce dikumil peroksit gibi az miktarda peroksit polietilen ile kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131l\u0131r. Peroksit ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta polietilen zincirinde serbest radikaller \u00fcretir ve silan, serbest radikal \u00fcretim b\u00f6lgesinde polietilen ile ba\u011flan\u0131r ve sonu\u00e7 olarak ekstr\u00fcde veya enjeksiyon kal\u0131plama y\u00f6ntemiyle \u00fcretilen \u00fcr\u00fcnler su buhar\u0131 varl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda \u00e7apraz ba\u011flan\u0131r. Bak\u0131r borular\u0131n yerini alan \u00e7apraz ba\u011fl\u0131 polietilen (PEX) plastik su borular\u0131n\u0131n kullan\u0131m\u0131, in\u015faat sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde giderek artmaktad\u0131r.
